“Because of the generosity of donors, we were able to provide two families in the Austin area the opportunity to experience Christmas without the financial stress often brought on by the cost of cancer treatment, ” said Christie Ingram.
We Will Survive Cancer is a nonprofit organization founded by Gayela Bynum, who lost her daughter, Michelle, to cancer. When Michelle was diagnosed, she and her husband connected with Wonders & Worries, and their son, Reid, received services.
Michelle’s widower, Brad Bynum, his significant other, Christie Ingram, and Brad and Michelle’s son, Reid, delivered the gifts to two families identified by Wonders & Worries.

“Brad, Reid and I were honored to meet such resilient families and together we shared tears, laughter and lots of smiles,” said Christie.
“We want to hank Wonders and Worries for connecting us with these families and allowing us to pay it forward for the support they provided Reid as a young boy after his mother Michelle’s diagnosis,” Gayela added. “Today Reid was able to show his appreciation by giving back through We Will Survive Cancer, inspired by his mother’s giving spirit.”
Thank you to the many donors, Christie Ingram & Brad Bynum in particular for making so many spirits bright!
