Honorarium and Memorial Giving
Thank you for aiding Wonders & Worries’ mission.
Donate in honor or in memory of a loved one and help families who are facing serious parental illness. Your 100% tax-deductible gift allows Wonders & Worries to provide professional coping support to children and teens during a very challenging time.
When making an online donation, kindly give us the name of the person your gift is in memory/honor of, as well as the name and address of a family member or close friend you wish to notify of your gift. After you have made your contribution, an acknowledgement letter will be sent to the designated family member or friend and a tax receipt will be sent to you. Please know that we will not specify the amount of the donation in the acknowledgement to the family.
We suggest using the following template when requesting a memorial gift:
“To honor those who have supported [insert person’s name and family], please consider donating in their name to Wonders & Worries in lieu of flowers. Donations can be made here or can be mailed to 9101 Burnet Road, Suite 205 Austin, TX 78758.”
If a family has received Wonders & Worries support prior to a loss occurring, they are welcome to receive bereavement support. However, if the loss has already occurred, families will be guided to other grief resources, including:
- Talking to Children when Treatment isn’t working
- Talking to Children when Treatment isn’t working – A Teen’s Perspective
- Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas
- The Christi Center
- Hospice Austin
- The Austin Center for Grief and Loss
- Bo’s Place
