No Worries Classic – Sporting Clay Shoot FAQ

Join the sporting clay shoot that benefits Texas children and families facing a serious parent’s illness!

 

Q: When is the No Worries Classic?
No Worries Classic (NWC) will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the exclusive TDS Exotic Game Ranch & Pavilion in Buda, Texas.

Q: Who is invited?
This charity shoot is open to the public. Anyone over 18 years of age is welcome to register in advance and attend.

Q: How can I participate?


Q: What is the entry fee?

There is no entry fee for the NWC. Each shooter agrees to solicit or give a minimum of $500 ($2,500 per team) to support their entry.

Q: Do I need to provide my own guns and ammunition?
Shooters are responsible for bringing their own guns, but ammunition, safety training and ear plugs are provided through the generosity of sponsors.

Q: Are prizes awarded?
Yes! All shooters receive a swag bag, and are eligible for drawings for restaurant gift cards, liquor baskets, guns, ammunition and more. Drawings take place at the awards luncheon immediately after the shoot.

Additionally, prizes are awarded to the top individual and team fundraisers, and to the top individual and team shooters. (To be eligible for top fundraising prizes, individuals must raise $5,000 and teams must raise $10,000). Past prizes have included a Polaris Utility Vehicle, a diamond necklace, a Big Green Egg smoker, a Beretta Silver Pigeon and more! In 2016, the top prize was a 7 day/6 night trip to South America!

Q: Is there an auction at the event?
We’ll host a live auction featuring the infamous Cowboy Auctioneers! Preview some of the amazing experiences  up for bid!

Q: What do the donations to No Worries Classic support?
Proceeds directly support Wonders & Worries in providing professional support for children through a parent’s illness. Since 2001, Wonders & Worries has served more than 7,000 Texas family members. Wonders & Worries does not receive any government funding, but instead relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations and special events like NWC to carry out the mission.

Q: What is the goal for this year’s event?
Our goal is to raise $500,000 in 2017. We would also like to have 20 teams with five shooters on each team competing.

Q: I made a pledge to a shooter.  Where do I mail my check?
You can pay for pledges online with your credit card. Checks can be made out to and mailed to Wonders & Worries at 9101 Burnet Road, Suite 107, Austin, TX 78758.  Please include “No Worries Classic” and the shooter’s name on your check.
