Wonders & Worries is always continuing to accept applications for a full or part-time Certified Child Life Specialist. This position would join a dynamic team of child life specialists and interact with the teams in our offices in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. In addition to professional qualifications, we look for team members with a willingness to both learn and teach, be curious, and work independently while functioning as part of a larger team.
The child life specialist will provide therapeutic support to children, teens & families coping with parental illness or injury in a community-based setting. The child life specialist will be trained to deliver our validated illness education curriculum to use in addition to other therapeutic tools and interventions. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule, a generous PTO and holiday plan, and group health and voluntary insurance options. Relocation stipend potential for a qualified candidate.
