As a Child Life Specialist, I am privileged to be on the receiving end of the sage wisdom and life thoughts of little kids. It is the heart of my work and powers me through the hard days. As parents living with chronic illness though, we often forget to go back to the source of worry – our children – to listen, to learn, to see the world through their beautiful eyes.  

Season 4 opens perhaps in my favorite way ever… a conversation with kids on how to survive –thrive (?!) – in summer despite the restrictions of chronic illness.
